Saturday beach walks

Coat- Charity shop, Scarf- Primark, Jeans- Vintage Levis, Beanie- Forever21, T-shirt- Chartity shop, Bag- Next, Shoes- Vans

So the northern beach town I live in might not be the golden beaches of Queensland, Australia or the south of the France, but its a pretty nice town and most importantly, its next to a body of water, which is where I feel most at home. The weather may be gloomy, but that doesn't stop me, or my dad going for a stroll along the beach and pier for a catch up and collecting pretty shells along the way.

This navy coat, clearly out of the 80s with these shoulders, is amongst the recent pile of treasure I've found in my most recent trip around my local charity shops. Its so warm an cosy. I was originally trying to find a new black one but had no luck, then this one popped up, and its all I want to wear at the moment, until it rains and completely puts a `damper' on my planned #ootd

These vans have not left my feet since I got them in the January sales. My converse died. Well not really, but lets just say I don't enjoy having cold wet feet with a breeze in several different spots when its freezing outside. These leather old skools are sturdy and do a good job at keeping my feet dry. I used to own a leather pair of hi sk8s, which died a tragic death in a mud pit in Australia, and I so almost go them again, but decided on the low tops as I currently have a leopard print pair of hi sk8s and needed a new every day shoe.
