Metallic knit

Coat- Newlook, Jumper and Jeans- H&M, Boots- Primark, Bag- Next, Sunnies- Primark, Beanie- Old

You know when you think of something that you would really like in your wardrobe but can't seem to find one anywhere? Then you just happen to be rummaging through the sale rack and find one, just one of what it was you imagined, and it happens to be just your size?? KEEERCHHIIING is exactly the word that popped in my head when I found this metallic jumper. I have a vest from salvation army in a similar material and thought It would be interesting in a more weather appropriate style. I also wanted to get another a pair of high waited jeans as my black primark ones aren't quite high enough for my liking. These bargain babies were only £7.99 so I picked up a light wash as well. They are super comfy and fit very well for the price.

sun lines

So I was sitting in my room this afternoon about to try some new make-up, when the sun just started pouring in through the blinds creating this crazy insane pattern across my face that I couldn't resist a bit of a selfie session. Simple art using the magic power of nature and your general surroundings.

Mint

Shirt, Jeans, Sunglasses- Primark, Coat- Newlook, Bag- Next, Shoes- Dorothy Perkins

This shirt is such an amazing colour. I love the minty aqua hues. Pretty much every shade on the blue spectrum is my favourite colour along with black, pink and purple. But the shades I love most are the bright turquoise aqua colours, ones that look that the colour of the oceon or sky. It was one of those pieces that jumped out at me when I was in primark when I first got back from Austrlia, Just over a month ago, super sad face. The shirt is of really good quality considering the £9 price tag. Personally I think it look like an equipment shirt but for a teeny tiny fraction of the price.

Outfit inspiration- Alexander wang a/w 15/16 high street edition

Blazer- Topshop, Jumper- Topshop, Velvet crop top- Ebay, Halter crop- River Island, Jeans- H&M, Trousers- Topshop, Pearl choker- Miss selfridge, Shoes- Bibi Lou, Boohoo.com, Jeffery Campbell

So I've fallen madly in love with Mr Wangs a/w 2015/16 collection. I love the modern goth vibes, the velvet, the leather, the mannish tailoring and the epic epic epic shoes. I was just browsing though the shoe sale on boohoo.com and my eyes fell out of my head when I saw these shoes. I'm fighting the urge to buy them. The contrast of the croc print double buckle strap is such and added bonus and were what inspired me to do this outfit inspiration. See you can dress like a Wang girl on a more affordable budget. Excuse me while and go and continue to pray at the alter of Alex Wang.

Lancome miracle cushion

I'm not a huge beauty buff but when I come across a product that really interests me I'm likely to try several different ones until I find the perfect one for me.  A lot of beauty trends that I pay attention too are ones that come out of Korea and Japan opposed to western beauty trends. If you didn't know I'm a huge fan of Korean and Japanese culture from fashion, music, art and pretty much everything. Now you all know BB cream, the innovative beauty product that jetset out of Korea to become pretty much a global phenomenon. I'm a huge fan of BB cream and haven't really worn foundation in almost 2 years. I love the simplicity and lightness of BB cream and how it gives a good everyday coverage that's not thick or heavy and doesn't goes all greasy and goopy on my skin after wearing it all day. The newest trend to finally make its way out of Korea and into the west is cushion foundation technology. Its been a huge hit in Korea in recent years providing up to 50spf, skin benefits such as vitamin E, and giving a really nice natural finish. Now I'm dying to try this cushion technology. I've been shopping online for the original Korean ones, such as Iope, Laneige, Tony Moly, The face shop etc. They are really easy to get hold of online but I'm just a bit worried of the colour as the lightest I can find is light beige and I tend to use ivory/ porcelaine colour foundation. That's why I'm so excited that Lancôme have jumped on bored as they have that slightly lighter colour.  On the negative the spf isn't as high as the originals, the Lancôme is only 23, but its easier to get a hold of, will suit my skin tone better an in general they are really easy to carry around and less messy than normal liquid foundation. Now that Lancome have jumped on bored its only going to be a matter of time until more affordable high street brands catch on and we will have cushion foundations coming out of our ears just like BB cream. I can't wait.

Check out the video of one of my favourite youtube shows Kstyle talking about cushion foundation, which is how I originally found out about it.
