ice skating at Nathan Philips square- Toronto

I love ice skating. Its got to be one of the most free feeling therapeutic things ever. Just gliding around in your own little world thinking about how lucky you are, until a 5 year old hockey player goes zooming past you and nearly knocks you on your butt. Luckily im pretty good on skates from years of roller blading as a kid and determination to get super super good and love for the adrenaline. Im super in love with my $25 second hand hockey skates, best bargain buy ever. And how pretty do the lights look over the rink at night, plus its real ice on the rink, not that horrible fake plasticy stuff you get on UK outside skate rinks. AAAND the outside rinks in Canada are free, so you can just turn up with your skates (or hire) and have fun for a few hours for free. My kind of outing.

most beautiful sunset

Went to the lake with my new room mates to have a chill sesh and watch the sunset. In the hour that we were there the sky turned all kinds of beautiful colours. The best of it was when we were driving home and the sky turned the most intense orange colour, never seen anything like it, not even in the south of france. So beautiful.
