Berlin shopping

Went on a bit of shop on the last day of Berlin. I cant remember the name of the shop but feel in love with this cardigan. I cant even begin to describe it with technical words, but basically you have to put it on like a pull over as it has an attached twisted front detail. I just love the way the front of it hangs, but i hated how it was just little bit out of my price range. We then went into `Made in Berlin' which is a well known vintage/second hand store. There was so many glittery things, massive knits, vintage levi high waisted shorts and fur coats,(unfortunately real fur) that i fell in love with but they were either to expensive or one size to small. But the thing i fell in with most were these early 90's jumpsuit, i dont even need to say how amazing they are, just look at them, amaaazing. In the wonderfully tacky tourist shop i found this huge lighter complete with a torch at one end and 100% fully functional. I really wish id bought it.

HURRRAAAY, we got Jazz's suitcase done up, it was so full it took some serious effort, but we did it. Dunkin donuts is the nicest place ever for a quick warm up stop of a very large hot chocolate that only cost £2.60 and some lush donuts. We all have withdrawal symptoms from it. Ming bought his ukelele with him, technically we have joint custody cause i found it, then he cheekily bought it knowing how much i want one, and the best part, i finally bought a bongo after wanting one for years, so naturally we all had a little jam sesh in the hostels games room whilst playing a lovely game of ring of fire with some smirnoff and bircardi, life of a student.

Truly was an amazing week with the art class i adore. We definitly became alot more closer than we we already were and we were all comfortable around each other in the first place, now there is truly no fear in front of each other. Thanks guys for such a memorable week and thanks to Dan our lecturer for organizing it for us.

German xmas markets, they really are beautiful, i bought a bongo, not typically German but iv wanted one for years. We got stuck in the airport for an extra 2 hours due to a delay because of the snow, i really wasn't complaining cause it meant i got to stay in Berlin longer and hang out with the lovelies more.

Im now officially part of the dark side. On a visit to the Brandenburg gate there was totally random darth vader, so being the cool kid that i am i was the first to go see him. It quickly turned into a light saber fight, which caught everyone off guard, but luckily my mate dave managed to record it. Afterwards i was then told,`welcome to the dark side', it was a magical moment.

I finally got my 18th bday pressie my nan. I was 18 at the end of august and my nan was on a 2 month holiday in europe, so iv just got present this week. We went to a silver jewelery shop in Chichester called Pia and omg i could have gone crazy. There was silver studded braclet that i was in love with but it was £100 and i had a limit of £50. The thing iv wanted for months is a proper silver knuckle ring that wont turn my finger green like my turquoise stone one. The first thing i came across in the store was... a silver knuckle ring for £35. I didnt even look around the rest of the shop, i had to have that ring. Then i found this lovely little amber one for £15 in the sale. it was meant to be about £40 so i did well there. I am in full love with these rings and hope to have them forever. Thank you very muchly nanny for my amazing birthday present. Plus do you like the nails, they're probs my favourite that iv ever done.

panic over

Photobucket
I had a massive panic attack today because i couldnt find my favourite rings. I knew i took them off and put them in a pair of shoes by the front door when i got in from college yesterday. But today i ran round the house nearly having a panic attack because 1. i couldnt remember which pair of shoes i put them in, 2. i couldnt find the pair of shoes i thought i put them in. But its alright, i found the plimsoles i put them in, panic over. Plus i got little carried away with the camera :P .

Before i figured out how to to put my slr on self timer i took the pictures the old fashioned way, by taking a picture of yourself in the mirror with your phone, then i got bored and did some pretty paint work.

French Vogue september issue
Love the simple combination of the black and white portrait and the contrast of the white rose against the black lace. This portrait has a delicate and lolita feel and the type of picture i would put on my wall. Good thing i have this magazine, so this page is going straight on my wall.

When down in the sunny southwest of France and spending the whole month of August there, its essential that you wear clothes that are reasonably sand friendly for most of the week as it consists of spending the night in the bar untill closing, then off to the beach where the drinking antics continue till the late hours of the morning. However the downside to this is that you normally come home with sand logged underwear and it also tends to come to bed with you. But on friday and saturday night, you can glam yourself up a bit as your off to party it up at the next camp site for a hectic night of cheap booze, amazing french songs and the few cheesy ones. On this particular friday night, i chose to wear a cheeky pale pink lace top that cost me all of £5 in primark, with just a flesh tone bra and a pair of hight waisted shorts that cost me £2.50 in a charity shop, teamed with my owl necklace for £2 from primark, £8 asda studded pouch bag and teamed it with a pair of £2 black plimsoles.   The extreme upside to it being a mega cheap outfit? you don't care when a drunken friend or your drunken self spills their cheap beer or wine down you.
