Starlight

Shirt- Primark £7

I currently have a massive thing for star print. I've noticed it popping up all over the place recently. I have a vintage star print bomber jacket I picked up ages ago, and now I just want star print everything. I'm considering getting a pair of metallic star print booties.
I found this gem in Primark for £7. For such a cheap price it fits really nice and is a nice soft fabric, so keep and out in your local Primark's.

Below is my vintage star print bomber.
Would wearing star print on star print be too much ????

Boohoo have a pretty bomb collection of star printed items on their website at the moment. So if your interested in this `trend' as I'm going to claim it too be, then be sure too check my top picks out linked below. I love the playsuit. I used to have a similar one from Aussie brand Glassons when I lived there, wish I hadn't thrown it out now. I also love the white shirt and I'm very quickly falling in love with the navy pyjama styled shirt.

fashion week ss17 street style

Goth vibes, plenty of palace and loads of t-shirts, long sleeved tops and jumpers are things that I spotted and love from the street style of all the recent fashion weeks.

Black birthday

Top & Shoes- Primark, Culottes- Boohoo, Sunnies- Newlook

So this is one of those rare outfits where nothing is from a charity shop. Normally I have at least one item that's thrifted.
Anyway, so yesterday was my birthday. I've officially existed for 24 earth years, but mentally I'm still like 12. I'm not one to make a big fuss over birthdays anymore, I kind of gave up after getting destroyed on my 20th whilst living in Canada. I spent the day just chilling in bed before surfacing around 1pm. Then headed out to meet my Dad, Aunt and Gran for a coffee and little a walk in the glorious sunshine, before heading off to rugby training where we flipped massive tyres.
Pretty casual day and hopefully I'm going out Saturday night.

In terms of outfits, this is pretty casual, however these culottes, which are granny approved, are so comfy and wearable night and day. I need to get them in pink. Plus a pair of lace ups always glams up an outfit.

greyscale

Shirt- Zara men via charity shop, T- Primark, Jeans- H&M, Shoes- Vans- via charity shop

So this whole entire outfit cost me a grand total of £11. The joys of sales and charity shops. These vans and Zara shirt were both a £1 each from the  random insanely cheap charity shop that is around the corner from me. In the few days I've owed both I have worn them obsessively. They are both wardrobe staples that can be worn over and over again for the ultimate comfort outfit.

Another place

Today for my dads birthday, we went to Crosby beach to finally check out the `iron men' of Antony Gormley. They were pretty cool and lived up to my expectations. We hung out at the beach for a while, then went for massive walk around Crosby before heading home for fish n chips. Was a pretty perfect day in the sun, followed by watching the dark knight rises with my new housemate.

Button up maxi

Jacket- Charity shop, T-shirt- River island via charity shop, Skirt- principles via charity shop, Shoes- Converse, Bag- Next, Sunnies- NewLook

I don't wear skirts that often, but I'm actually a huge maxi skirt lover. I love the high waist fit of this one, along with the button up detail. I made it more casual by pairing it with my pretty much dead converse and denim jacket. I think this look would also be super cool with a pair of chunky heeled boots.
